Dick Walters - Specializing in Fatigue Blouses & Depot Jackets

Materials and construction: made exclusively from materials sourced from Family Heirloom Weavers, County Cloth, and Ben Tart, sewn with period techniques, and finished with buttons from either Military Warehouse or Waterbury.

Some items include a new option on the hand-sewn items. I'm offering to machine sew the hidden seams and hand finish all of the visible seams.
I've called that 'hand top-finished'. In most cases there is a price advantage.

As a note, none of my products except for the shelter-half have stencils at this time. I have facsimiles of the majority but have not developed stamps as yet. I intend to work on that in the near future.

Detailed photos are available upon request. If you are interested I can be reached via e-mail @ genlstuff@lazerlink.com or by phone at 814-876-2570.

Federal Clothing

Forage Caps: I can offer the Type I and Type II, made by Superior Hat Co. for $95.

Blouses: I currently offer two patterns (others as noted above). Standard features include pieced collars and facings with the option of making the coat with cuff and/or front facing material from a different dye or fabric lot at no extra cost. Choose from Heirloom Weaver, County Cloth, or Ben Tart's blue flannel for the outer shell and combine it with a period lining of your choice from the same companies. Sleeve lining is muslin. Machine sewn blouses are sewn with indigo dyed cotton. Note: Ben Tart's chemical dyed flannel (same as the coat you have remaining) is available for the quoted price. Ben is now additionally offering the same flannel but indigo dyed at a much higher price. I'll pass that along at cost but it ends up being a $44 adder to the base price. In my opinion someone would really have to be in love with the weave (which is great) to pay the additional money to have piece of mind that the coat is entirely correct. Something to consider as you put your order together. I can also add exterior pockets, etc. to these for a couple of bucks if you care to offer them. If you don't specify lining, cuff facing, etc. I'll mix them up so that at least coats of the same size are unique.

J.T. Martin: Totally machine sewn with the exception of buttonholes and pocket reinforcements. Options as per the general description.

I only make this as a lined coat as there are no unlined examples in existence.
