Saturday

7:45 AM- Saber Drill- On the Green near the Orchard

8:30 AM- Breakfast- In the Tavern

9:15 AM- Theory of War

Paul Kenworthy

Principals of War out of the 1862 Army Officers Pocket Companion (AOPC), as well as the study of grand tactics and the theory thereof. -1.5 hours approx.

11:00 AM- Combined Arms Operations and the proper use of Artillery and Cavalry

Michael Martorelli, Todd Kerns, Rob Bruno, Dave Myrick

Historical use and how that translates to the Hobby today. 2 hours.

1:00 PM Lunch- In the Tavern

2:30 PM Running a Brigade

Andrew Dangel, Matthew Mclaughlin, John Novicki, Michael Schaffner, Matthew Piston

Review of Staff positions and their precise duties and the associated paperwork combined with the proper use of Medical personnel, buglers and field music. 3.5 Hours approx

7:30 PM Supper and Social at the Tavern


Sunday

8AM Breakfast- in the tavern

8:45 AM Evolutions of the Line

Matthew Burbank and Scot Buffington

The Basic maneuvers of the Brigade, Brigade Dress Parade and Pass in Review for Brigade. 1.5 hours

10:30 AM Out Post

Mike Lavis, Mike Hendricks

Based upon "Instructions for Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers on Outpost and Patrol Duty and Troops on Campaign. " as adopted in 1863, and written in 1862. 1.5 hours Approx
