The Camp of Convenience

There will be a Camp of Convenience available for participants who choose not to stay in the military camps and wish to camp mixed (civilians and military together). It will be divided into Federal and Confederate sections, as well as providing a civilian only section for those looking to camp civilian but not in the immersion area between the armies.

These camps will be laid out in streets to maximize the use of the available land. The streets will accommodate both Common and Wall Tents. Depending on the available space, tents with flys may have to be set up parallel to the streets.

The Camp of Convenience will have its own water, firewood, and sanitary facilities. Ice will be available, at reasonable cost, on a regular basis. Logistics and other administrative matters will be handled at the Camp Headquarters, and supervised by Colonel Bill Rodman.

While this is a camp of convenience all rules and regulations for the event still apply, and do read them and let us know if you have any questions regarding such.  Quiet hours will be from 11:00 PM until reveille. Military participants who camp in this camp are expected to arrive at their designated assembly locations on time and ready for the day’s activities as ordered.
